I got down to the beach for an early morning surf the other day. As I left the home, I wanted to get into the water as soon as possible so didn’t pick up my usual DSLR. Typical, as I drive down to the beach I see some amazing colours as the sun peaks above the horizon, regretting my decision to leave my camera at home.
When I got out of the car, I quickly grabbed my Iphone 4s to capture a few quick snaps for Instagram. I must say, I am very impressed with the quality of the camera in the Iphone 4s. I can be a bit of a camera snob at times, being so use to having all the controls of a DSLR or film SLR, and a lovely big sensor, it is hard to pick up the small sensor point and shoot cameras. Was very happy to have the iphone as an emergency camera that day!
